Planning our first trip in a few days.  Previous owner added a small amount of water after dewinterizing so that I could see that the system was operable.  Tuesday I added additional water a small amount of bleach, then opened both the red and blue low water drains, letting it drain overnight.  Today I replaced the drainage caps and tried to fill the tank with water.  The water seemed to come out right away so I pressed the hose tighter into the opening.  After half a minute water started coming out the overflow hole left and above the inlet.  So I pulled out my hose and right water it seemed like all the water I had put in came pouring out.  I know air can get trapped (when my truck’s vent selenoid went bad, gas would come spurting out!).  What is the best way to fill??

Turns out that I did know how to fill the system but didn’t realize that the pump must be on to empty the thing!  I thought fresh water tank would empty by gravity by opening the low water outlets.  Nope!  Maybe I’ll open some faucets to counter any vacuum…nope!  Just flip the pump switch…out she flows.
