We do most of our traveling in the spring and fall when school is in session. Less crowded and that works out for us. So, that means summer is the time to work on and upgrade our Retro. Here’s a quick review:

Repacked wheel bearings, check and adjusted brakes, and new tires and wheels(now have 2 mounted spares).

Sealed all seams and roof vents along with installation of 2 Maxxair roof vent covers. I used Flexseal and will report back as to it’s success. A bit spendy but looks like a good product.

Digital thermostat, new shower head, light under the bed, Grundtal rail storage system in kitchen, upgraded DVD to blueray, 2 small dehumidifiers, 6″ x 7′ PVC pipe with caps for door mat.

Also bought red tie dye material for new curtains(winter project).

Ready to hit the road Oct 1st. Now just need to choose a direction!!

What was the digital thermostat that you opted to use as a replacement?

I upgraded the thermostat to be more efficient. The factory stat is crap, as are most things on any trailer. The bottom line is $$$ to them. I would like to be able to upgrade everything when ordering instead of finding, ordering, installing.

Sorry, I reread your post. I guess you are asking about brand. It is a Honeywell, just a simple 2 wire installation with digital read out and less than $20 delivered from Amazon.
