Hi all, I’m happy to have found this forum! I just let go of my 1964 Shasta Compact due to rot, and I’m researching Riverside Retro trailers. I love the styling and want to avoid the problems/issues that vintage trailers have. So far, the reviews I’ve read online have been mixed and it seems that there are issues around quality. I will poke around the forum to see what I can read about this. Thanks and happy to be here. Liz

I understand your reluctance and the seemingly mixed reviews online about Riverside Retro trailes.  I recently went through the same experience.  Some said awesome and others said poor workmanship.  In the end I can give you my limited experience, which is positive.  Are the trailers perfect, no, but not many are!  They all have one issue or another at some point.  Just pay attention to the small details and look after it and I think you should not regret getting one.  On the plus side the look of them is dramatically different and inspires instant pride.  The looks they get from other campers is a hoot to say the least.  I get complements every time I go somewhere.  Small issues pop up, but to date mine have all been manageable and my dealer gave priority service.  I can’t wait to use it always, and I would never give it up!
