We purchased a 2016 177se in February. We have had 3 outings so far, including a nearly 2 week trip to the Oregon coast, south to the Redwoods and then back home with a couple of nights at Crater Lake. Have had fairly minor issues with the trailer. The USB ports didn’t work, 1 blind was malfunctioning and needs replaced, we have a shower leak the dealer is having a hard time finding. We have had it in 3 times for the shower leak. I truly consider all of these issues minor at this point. If they don’t get the shower leak fixed this time I might start considering it a major problem. Despite those few issues I love our retro. It’s adorable and comfortable and seems to be well made. I have found that when I use the toaster inside I need to turn on the fan or the smoke detector goes off.

We purchased it so we could take a couple of our pets on the road with us. I have loved carrying on the retro/vintage theme in the decor.

We are interested in adding solar and are looking for advice in that area and I am always interested in storage and organization tips. I am convinced there has to be a better plan for the space under the bed then what we are doing now.

Thank you for joining the forums. I’m sad to hear about your Retro problems but I’m glad that the dealership is working on getting them fixed. I to am looking into adding solar, I guess we could probably mount 1 or 2 panels on the roof if wanted. I was actually looking at this kit Here Once I do purchase a kit I will be doing a write up on the install to help any other members.

I’ve also added a easy option for uploading images to your post. Please see the “Forum Rules, News, and Instructions” forum for instructions we would love to see pictures of your retro.
