Hi all!

We have a 2019 Retro 285FK with the Dometic air conditioner and digital thermostat. What we have noticed with our limited use of it, is that when the A/C reaches its cutoff temperature (let’s say 72F), it shuts down, as it should. But then, within ten seconds (as opposed to the two minutes it states in the manual), it restarts again. (BTW, this thing always runs at full blast (LOUD!) too).  I don’t mind that it decides to restart, but I’m afraid that the A/C’s Freon pump may become damaged by this rapid restart rate.

How long should it take for the Dometic to restart?

Thank you!
