We recently purchased a 2016 181B but it does not have the upper bunk in the back. Does someone have one and would be willing to take pictures of how the upper bunk is mounted? I am thinking I could make the frame, I just need to know how it is held to the wall. All that is on mine is a piece of what looks like trim about 1/4″ x 1″ where I think the bunk would mount. I tried to contact Riverside Retro but did not get a response.
Thanks,
Doug

Not the greatest photos as we have loaded up some bedding.
A five year old will fit easy and he will enjoy it up there. It is pretty easy to climb up there as well with the space provided between the top bunk and the wall.
I am 5’10 and have slept in the bottom bunk.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
