At the conclusion of the 12hrs of Sebring race, when I attempted to close up the small awning on my 155, the rear leg wouldn’t not retract fully. Eager to leave, perhaps a little over zealous, I forced it down to a height I could confidently drive home.
It’s stuck now. I can’t extend or contract it any further.
There was a monster wind at one point that sent enormous shade tents 30′ feet into the air without any warning. I think this same wind might have torqued my awning. That or some drunk person might have walked into it while I was away.
Do you think it can be saved or should I just contact Carefree of Colorado and order either a new assembly or just the one side?
